I have found that goal setting is the best way to keep you motivated and to push yourself above what you think your limits are. We all have goals deep down inside of us that we want to achieve, yet sometimes we are afraid to admit them. For instance, I have always wanted to be able to run a half marathon. That goal seemed nearly impossible a few months ago considering I could not even run a mile. I dissected my large goal and put it into smaller goals to eventually reach the big one. Don’t try to do it all at once or you might burn out very fast. My first goal was to run a 5k, then a 10k, and work my way up to a half marathon.
