Hello World! Ok, Maybe Not The World Just WordPress World

This is a little hello to the people that click like on pages to gain attention to themselves. I have seen it for years. Do you actually like the article? Not sure. I do know that WordPress actually suggests doing it to get people to read your own blog. I think the like button should be named something else. I use the like button as a queue to read an article in it’s entirety later in my reader. If I really like it I will comment. Comments to me are 100 times greater than a like. But “Thank You WordPress” thanks for reminding me that I have surpassed my prior posts likes.

I know people haven’t actually read an article when my Stats show no visitors or the fact they liked it 2 seconds after posting. I have taken speed reading courses. I can read 600 words a minute with a 100 percent accuracy. I don’t think you can read a 1000 word article in less than 30 seconds. Especially with my random writing style. Constantly switch from first person to second person and an occasional third person.

Now let’s see who likes this.

Off to drink some coffee and maybe a little chain smoking. Wow, with that image I may just be on my way to become a writer. I may have to buy a Corona typewriter to complete the old stereotype.

I need a good editor before I could become a great writer. Till next time…..
